Software Engineer · Dhaka, Bangladesh

Satya Ranjan DebSharma

I like following a click beyond the screen, especially when a request fails, a retry comes through, or two people reach for the same stock. Working through those details is what draws me to backend and full-stack engineering.

I work with TypeScript across backends and web interfaces. I’m also building FieldForge, a personal field-service marketplace that follows a job from finding a technician to tracking the work through completion.

The idempotency check that has to run twice

Draft — still being edited

Checking an idempotency key before you take the row lock leaves a window two simultaneous requests can both walk through. The fix is one extra check, and the better fix is not needing the key.
